Meet Our Team

Michelle Pentecost
Starpoint was created in Alice Park during the pandemic when people were only allowed to meet outdoors. It started with 15 children and has grown to a school of about 100. Michelle has been teaching dance for over 10 years and won Outstanding Dance Teacher of the Year in 2019. She has also choreographed for West End and Disneyland stages multiple times. Michelle works so hard to bring the best out of each and every child; creating confident and successful performers.

Sharon Abrahams
Sharon has run her own successful business for over 12 years and created Starpoint in 2020 which she runs with Michelle as a couple. Sharon has become extremely passionate about the school and spends so much time making sure it is a friendly, happy and supportive environment for all the children to flourish in. Both Sharon and Michelle love teaching the children, and watching them grow in confidence is a huge achievement.

Sophie Wilson
Sophie has been taught by Michelle for 8 years and was involoved in ceating Starpoint. She has performed on the West End and in Disneyland Paris multiple times, as well as being nominated for Outstanding Dancer of the year in 2018. Sophie started teaching at 13 and qualified as a gymnastics coach and judge in 2019. She nows choreographs and teaches all age groups, and is involved with the running of the company; doing marketing and managing social media whilst she's studying at university.

Mackenzie Bardsely
Mackenzie has been training in dance since the age of three, and since then has completed his gold award in ballroom and latin as well as becoming juvenile Latin Champion. He has also completed his Grade 8 musical theater and an extened diploma in performing arts at Bath Dance College. Mackenzie has recently been accepted into the prestigious Italia Conti Perfforming Arts School. As well as dancing himself, Mackenzie teaches all age groups at Starpoint and is an inspiration to the students.

Millie Snowden
Millie started dancing at age three where she did ballroom and latin classes and completed all bronze, silver and gold level grades. She also became Juvenille British Latin champion when she was twelve. As well as this, Millie has trained in musical theatre where she has performed on West End stages. She now hopes to pass on her enthusiasm and love of all styles of dance to the students at Starpoint.

Helen Box
Helen is an integral member of the Starpoint team and takes on many roles. As well as working a full time job, Helen takes a lot of time to assist with the organisation of the company. From photography to food organisation, Helen is our right hand woman and we definitely couldn’t do it without her. We are very grateful for all Helen’s energy, kindness and hard work.

Edie Gratton
Edie completed her diploma in Peformaing Arts at Bath Dance College and specialises in ballet, lyrical and contemporary dance. She teaches all age groups at Starpoint and helps all the children with their dance technique.
